Leading estate agent Hamptons, with a network of over 90 plus branches throughout London and the South of the UK, has appointed creative agency Atomic London as its lead creative agency. The agency will work in partnership with recently appointed Total Media.
Following a volatile year for estate agents in 2023, with a surge in interest rates dampening the property and rental market, and with sellers looking to their estate agent for the guidance they need to get their sale or rental over the line, Hamptons is looking to reinforce its positioning as the ‘Home Experts’.
Atomic London will now partner with Hamptons to develop the Home Experts brand platform across all channels, to help the brand stand out in a highly competitive market.
The new brand platform will leverage Hamptons’ heritage as a 150+ year-old business and a service offering which spans sales, lettings, property management, portfolio management, short lets, corporate relocations, international sales and rentals, new homes, build-to-rent and a private office.
The engagement will also draw on the expertise of Supernova, the social creator agency launched by Atomic last year.
This will be in partnership with Total Media, which has delivered Hampton’s UK-based multi-channel media campaign since Christmas 2023. The campaign is based on behavioural insights rather than using fixed demographics, tapping into life events such as the birth of a first child, which increases the likelihood of a move by 62% within the next year.
Fiona Stewart, head of marketing and PR, Hamptons, said: “The collaboration with Atomic London marks an exciting chapter for Hamptons. Their dynamic approach has not only met with our brief but exceeded our expectations.”
Greater Anglia is owned by Transport UK Group (formerly Abellio UK), which also owns East Midlands Railway, Merseyrail and West Midlands Railway. It started working with Atomic in 2019.
Louise Rudaizky, Atomic London's Managing Director, added: “Hamptons are fantastic clients to work with. They’re ultra collaborative and open to making brave decisions that will allow them to get cut-through in an oversaturated market..
“It’s great to have the opportunity to bring in specialists from across the Atomic orbit to help grow the Hamptons business.”
A one-of-a-kind creative independent, Atomic has been in operation since 2012 and is pioneering a new approach to inter-agency collaboration within its growing portfolio of specialisms.
