Be Remembered for Even More

We have worked with Remember A Charity to launch “Be Remembered for Even More,” a campaign to encourage more people to consider leaving a gift in their will during Remember a Charity Week (11-17 September 2023) and beyond.

Celebrating the special stories, silly moments and quirky hobbies that we all remember about loved ones, the ads bring a liberal dose of humour to encourage awareness and conversation about legacy giving.

Lucinda Frostick, Director of Remember A Charity, says: “Everyone’s life tells a story and we all hope to be remembered for our better traits. Writing a Will is one of the few ways we can influence how we are remembered and this campaign builds on that concept, taking a light-hearted approach to inspire people to consider their impact on the world.

This Remember A Charity Week, we’re hoping to spark up conversation about people’s fond and funny memories of their loved ones, and how they too hope to be remembered, reminding people that we all have the potential to leave the world a better place by remembering a charity in our Will.

With rising demand for charitable services, donations have never been more needed – or more deeply valued. This campaign draws together hundreds of charities, solicitor firms, legal partners and others to maximise impact and inspire charity supporters across the country.”

Remember A Charity, is a charity that represents nearly 200 charities to inspire more people to leave a gift in their Will to charity. The consortium works closely with legal, government, and private partners to raise awareness of gifts in wills

Although one in five charity supporters over the age of 40 have left a charitable donation in their Will, twice as many say they would be happy to do so*. Remember A Charity estimates that even just a 10% increase in the number of people leaving gifts in their Wills each year would raise £1 billion in urgent funding for good causes.
